Maruti Alto K10 Knightracer launched

Available in LXi trim, the limited edition model comes with new features at an additional cost of Rs 13,490.

 In an effort to push sales of the Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki has launched a limited edition of the hatchback, called the Alto K10 Knightracer. Available in LXi trim, the limited edition model comes with 11 new features at an additional cost of Rs 13,490.  

The Alto K10 Knightracer is offered with rear end spoiler, new body graphics, full wheel covers, external side mouldings, left side outside rear view mirror, new Knightracer fabric seat covers, rear parcel tray, steering wheel cover and a JVC MP3 music system with USB connectivity.

Elaborating on the Alto K10 Knightracer, Manohar Bhat, VP Marketing, Maruti Suzuki said, “The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, since the day of its launch, found immense appreciation amongst the value-conscious young buyers. The Alto K10 Knightracer is a special limited edition that adds to the Alto K10’s appeal with an enhanced style quotient. We are confident that this special edition will bring pride to the select owners.”

The Alto K10 was launched in August 2010 and has since helped the Alto brand achieve the 20 lakh sales milestone. The car is powered by the 1000cc K-Series engine offering 67bhp of power and superior mileage of 20.2kpl (company claimed). The Alto K10 is priced at Rs 3.20 lakh for the LXi variant and Rs 3.34 lakh for the VXi variant (prices ex-showroom Delhi).
